The department of Gastroenteroloy is one of the first of it's kind in and around Solapur district and Headed by Dr. Sujeet Jahagirdar, M.D. D.M PGI Chandigarh. This institute is a premier institute for training in Gastroenteroloy.

The mission of our department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and liver through the integration of novel models of healthcare delivery with innovative programs in clinical and basic research.
