          Cardiology department has become the nerve centre of Ashwini hospital .It provides services both to inpatient and outpatient the department focuses on complete cardiac care through plethora of non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic services.

 
CLINICAL SERVICES

           Ashwini's hospital is provided with a state of art, excellent GE CATH-LAB.The facilities provided by the department are at par with the best in the Field. The Cardiology Department provides services for the diagnosis and monitoring of heart disease, on both an inpatient and an outpatient basis. The department's non-invasive Cardiology Laboratory is equipped with the latest medical technology like Sequoia C256 color Doppler machine. 

 
CARDIAC TREATMENT FACILITY

         The Cardiology Department is manned by senior Cardiologists trained in India and abroad. Patients with high risk and multi vessel involvement are also undertaken. Primary Angioplasty, an approach of opening blocked coronary artery during acute myocardial infarction, in place of thrombolysis is practiced in suitable cases. The cardiologists have performed over 10000 Plus Angiographies and nearly 2000 coronary angioplasties. 

          This Hospital is one of the premier centre for doing Balloon Mitral Valvotomy even in critical patients on ventilator. Now the treatment of congenital like with device closure of ASD/ VSD/PDA has also started this year.
